Ghost Hunting. Not Just for Halloween ...

Top tips and places to look for Ghost Hunters everywhere !

If you are determined to take up ghost hunting, then you need an open and enquiring mind.
If ghosts do exist, and this has never been proved or disproved, all claims of haunting should not be taken lightly.

If you are trying to solve a ghost mystery, patience is essential:
Spirits are known to be shy and inconsistent, many hours can be spent keeping watch with
little reward, and it is well known that if you watch for ghosts, it is only typical for them to appear somewhere else!

Like any good detective you must be able to question witnesses, collect evidence and also decide if these whether these haunting are caused by natural causes.
An irrelevant piece of information could well be the final piece that solves the puzzle.

So nothing should be over looked.

Accurate notes containing full information are essential.
Remember - unless 2 people can confirm the same story - every thing is suspect.

So what equipment do you need ?

A notebook and 2 pens ( one may run out at a crucial point in your investigations.)
A tape measure ( you may discover a secret room with odd room dimensions)
A camera ( with a flash if possible - instant ones are better as there is no chance of someone messing with negatives)
A tape recorder and a video camera ( only the serious ghost hunter needs the video camera)
A pack of Graphite powder and a small brush.

Handy tricks of the trade are also black thread and flour, useful to check to see if things have been moved or to see if a fake ghost has snapped the thread.

NOW YOU ARE READY TO BEGIN !! Good Luck !
